Do 1 part rice to 2 parts water, for example 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water.
Place the rice in a large bowl that is microwaveable.
Rinse the rice with water and discard the water, then and add the appropriate amount of water.
Place the bowl on top of a plate to catch any boiled over water.
Cover the bowl with a microwaveable top like a plate.
Cook between 12-15 minutes depending on your microwave until cooked to your preference.
